A-Trak and Hova

So while the highlight of the end of my week last week was a toss up between a good Shabu Shabu session with Rose and a lackluster surf session at T Street on Saturday, longtime WHTCN homie A Trak had quite a different set of activities. Namely being the chosen one to help Jay Z orchestrate his new stage show for his next tour.

Between playing at venues around the world and parties from Miami to Marrakech, A Trak is handling the layout of the sets along with Questlove from The Roots, who is leading the live band that is on the tour. When Jay Z comes up to you back stage and gives you props, and has his tour manager hunt you down to save the day on his first tour in 3 years, chances are you are doing something right. Way to go Alain, keep on doin' it!

And now for a first on WHTCN, you can buy some Fool's Gold tracks right here. Word to technological breakthroughs and cheap server space in 5th world countries.

While DJ Neil Armstrong will be the man on the wheels at Jay Z's shows, you can catch A-Trak on tour with his label, Fool's Gold this month, and on the Kanye West Glow in the Dark Tour this spring and summer. I'm sure you'll hear about that one.

On a side note, Kanye started a travel website. Random.
