Graceful Decline.


For as long as I can remember, people in Buffalo have been talking about whether or not the city can make a "big comeback". The odds have always been stacked against it, and this article explains how it got that way and why things are getting worse and also, interestingly, why it should resign itself to declining gracefully and get to a manageable size that can thrive.

The Economist agrees. I hate to say it, but I think they are right.
