I'm embarrassed to say that I've known about this deli since moving to LIC a few years ago and have yet to try it. A client travels from the UWS to Astoria every Sunday morning to pick up some Italian combos for his fam, and has been swearing by it since forever. I'm really more of a hot sandwich guy: sausage & peppers, chicken parm, meatball parm... but you can't deny the majesty of their Italian Combo. I promise a review soon, but with San Gennaro this weekend, it might have to wait a bit.
