It's odd after growing up watching videos and dreaming of skating Santa Monica that I haven't been there with my board yet. I guess it's like finally meeting your favorite sports star and he turns out to be a total asshole. Just would hate to go and have a miserable time.
But with the Venice park there, and finally finding out where the famed sand gaps/ benches are it's high time I made it out.
