Perhaps I never noticed before, but once my sis' found out I was staying at a DoubleTree hotel, she couldn't stop raving about the complimentary cookies. She and her hub gave up cookies for Lent and were so excited to have the DT cookies they ordered. Being the super pastry cook she is, I figured they must be good. Upon first break, I couldn't believe the warmth and chocolatey goodness. F'n beats that Andes chocolate disc that some hotels keep on your pillow. I remember being so tired on a trip and sleeping right on one and getting chocolate all over my back.
