This bitch is retarded.
Usually I like to keep this site to fart jokes, food that will make you shit yourself in more ways than one, and pictures of dudes with afros hitting themselves in the head with numchuks, but this video pretty much gives you the same reaction as any of those things: pure unadulterated amusement. Too bad she may be a hip replacement surgery gone wrong away from the presidency. Holy shit.

Funky Fridays #6.
I remember when Criminal Minded just came out. I was around when Public Enemy's "Yo, Bum Rush The Show" just came out too. My friend & I went to the "Flea Market" which was a bunch of random stores in this huge space where you could get fresh pickled pickles, ninja stars, burgundy pumas with fat laces & windbreakers to match, and of course, new hip hop tapes. We had this idea that we would each buy one and buy metal-grade blank cassette tapes and make this master mix: BDP vs. PE. We blasted that tape that whole Summer of 87' during skate sessions. I do remember his Mom used to keep Entemanns Chocolate donuts in the freezer and she would get so heated when we'd kill it after sessions.

San Geezy Pt.2: The Food.
After the drive-by the night before I was anxious to hit up SG for the snacks. First stop: the beer tent. Up until about 3 years ago, drinking was allowed on Mulberry Street for the Festival from Canal to Houston. It allowed for some great comedy from the fights to the pukers. But now there are only a few beer tents which, although restricting, are a great way to build up an appetite and watch all the passer-bys. Listening to the dialogue is the best. "Hey Beyb, afta dis beah, let's get up on sahm sawsage & peppahs". I couldn't agree more.
The sausage & pepper spot I scouted the night before was a few blocks north, so we hit up for a quick slice & rice ball. Everything looked amazing, but I was trying to save a little room for the goodness. Too bad they didn't have any toasted ravioli.
Managing the crowds can be difficult, but there's always something entertaining within eyesight.
Aaah Lucy's. The old standby year to year. You can't beat it. While other spots cut a hero roll in half for their $7.00 sandwich, Lucy's has a whole medium sized hero roll complete with toasted breadcrumbs on the base of the roll. You get a decent log of sausage and the grilled onions & peppers are always fresh with the crazy lines and turnover. All for $8.00.
Onto Ferrara's Cafe for some cannoli's. One chocolate dipped please.
We headed up further north to find a Mozzarepa for my friend's gf. It's a weird corn cake with melted mozzarela in between. Definitely, a street fair oddity. Yummy, but I would have rather gotten another slice.
Afterwards, we walked back down south towards Canal to find a decent gelato spot to wash down all that grease & close out the menu.
Had a great time this year as usual. Got a taste of all the Feast had to offer without killing myself. The ender was a stretch but I love fresh strawberry gelato. Note the half chewed gelato cone in cheek. God Bless the Feast of San Gennaro. See y'all next year!

San Geezy.
There's really nothing like the smell of grilled sausage & peppers
with the sounds of Lisa Lisa blasting on a cool 60deg Fall evening.

Qwstion
I always appreciate a nicely designed bag. I stumbled across these bags by QWSTION the other day and, given the fact most of my luggage is now "out of date", I might have to pick one of these up. I can't fully back "adult" luggage, but this is a nice hybrid between that and my tastes.
Suspended laptop compartment and tight cable management compartment.
Not really feeling the seatbelt buckles, but the next photo kind of makes up for it.
Love that interior fabric.

Powerpoint(less)
Redemption.
Just when I was starting to lose faith, Apple comes through with
iPhone Version 2.1 software.
iPhone Version 2.1 software.
I now have 5 bars of 3G in my house, whereas before I was ready to get
the tinfoil and rabbit ears out to accept a call in the kitchen.
GPS speeds are also greatly improved, it actually keeps up with the in
dash Mercedes system now. Now if I could only get the in dash system to not look like the graphics from Dig Dug I would be set. Serious design oversight.
I won't even mention the cut and paste that still isn't there. I've
learned to live without it. Maybe next update.

5 Guys.
Today is National "Take your sister out for a cheeseburger for her birthday" Day, if you didn't know. Hit up 5GUYS for this week's indulgence. Good stuff, slightly different topings without being too fancy. Lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, ketchup, & A1 sauce please. Got chewed out for not hitting Shake Shack. Where Burger Joint is a close #2, she claims Shake Shack is Numero Uno. With Peanut Butter & Chocolate shakes on the menu, I should really try it out. Hour long lines f'n blow like stepping in shit with crispy kicks, but with the weekend rain, I think I might be good to go.
